The second annual Hoops in Hawaii Thanksgiving Classic went quite successful with four good teams playing four competitive games.
This Classic featured BYUH in its last year of athletic existence. All games were played at the Cannon Activities Center (BYUH campus), a beautiful facility, second in the State only to the Stan Sheriff Center. Hawaii Pacific University also participated. Both BYUH and HPU are a part of PACWEST Conference in NCAA Division II.
Carleton College is from Minnesota and a part of the MIAC in NCAA Division III. West Coast Baptist College is from California and competes in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

Hawaii Pacific won a close and competitive game vs Carleton College, 79-70.
In the nightcap, West Coast Baptist College put up a valiant effort but fell short vs BYUH, 99-87.
11/26/16: Day 2
HPU fended off a few runs by West Coast Baptist but had to much fire power themselves and rolled to a 102-69 victory.
Carleton College led throughout the game and staved off a late rally by BYUH and this time held on for a 68-59 victory.
